Dynamic Pathways...we're here for you.
Opening February 2012!!
It is our belief that all children can learn to become students; learning dynamic and static information, relate to others, communicate their wants and needs effectively, and respond appropriately to uncertainty and challenges… all it takes a strong understanding of child development, an emotionally regulated classroom environment, and goals that are set perfectly within a student’s zone of development/competence.
Our curriculum and belief system for children with autism spectrum disorders is based on a clear developmental progression of how the mind develops through Dynamic Intelligence.
We believe learning is:
- dynamic, with static skills embedded into dynamic thinking
- active, where learning roles are developed for each student
- meaningful to both the student and teacher
- creating opportunities to transfer responsibility for learning and problem solving to the students
- generalized between home and school, and to new settings, situations, and problems
